The truth.

Hey, I'm back again (if only briefly). I've just signed up for a homebrewing class through NIACC. There are three offered, but as of now, I've just signed up for the one. The class for which I signed up is called Brewing Great Beer From Kits. The other two are All Grain Brewing (which I should and probably will take as well) and You Be the Judge of That which is for people who would eventually like to become BJCP certified.
Anyway, as I've already been brewing from kits for over a year, I hope I can still get something out of the class. I plan to more entries as I progress through the class, but we all know how plans can change.

Oh, I made the Fat Tire clone and I'd say it turned out very well. I've not yet made another batch, but I may have to soon as I am seeing more and more empty bottles accumulating in my basement. Perhaps I will wait until after the class in the hopes of finding inspiration or discovering some new valuable piece of information. On the other hand, maybe I'll make a batch before the class as a nice little refresher.

Holy crap, has it been that long? Oh well, I've brewed four batches now and am waiting for a good opportunity to start batch number five, a Fat Tire clone that I am really excited about. In the mean time, I've been working a lot and listening to some interesting podcasts, one of which (Penn Radio) just ended. :(
Hopefully I can update more sooner than later.
